1.5-3" Hybrid Bluegill
The Hybrid Bluegill (also called a hybrid sunfish) is a cross between a Male Bluegill and a Female Green Sunfish, also referred to as a Hybrid Sunfish. The Hybrid Bluegill is 90% male, giving it a reduced reproductive potential and making it an ideal choice for those ponds prone to stunting, or those too small for crappie (less than 3 acres). They are not a forage species, and should not be stocked in ponds with a primary goal of raising bass.
